Soon, you can buy a TV, washing machine, fridge or any electrical stuff without leaving Cyberjaya as TBM Electrical Store will open its new branch in Cyberjaya.
UPDATE: TBM is now open for business, join us on Facebook for the latest updates!
TBM is one of Malaysia’s established electrical appliances stores like Senheng and SenQ. TBM is actually the short for Tan Boon Ming, a Malaysian Chinese entrepreneur who started selling bicycles just after World War II. Later, as lives improved and lifestyle evolved, he moved into selling sewing machines, furnitures and radios.
His son, Mr. Tan Long Kee who is now the Managing Director wrote the following on their website:
When my late father Mr Tan Boon Ming founded TBM in 1945, he has always been committed to providing genuine and sincere customer service in all aspects of the business. Ove the years, without losing sight of his commitment, our wonderful team of dedicated people has weaved TBM into the colourful fabric of Klang valley by always providing for the most current lifestyle trends. Today, we are very proud to be carrying over 30 well-known brands of consumer electronics and home electrical appliances. Meanwhile, we are still looking forward to expand our range of products and services to enhance our customers’ way of life.
Their new store is set to open soon in D’Pulze Shopping Centre, next to Penang History restaurant, on the same floor where Jaya Grocer is.
TBM has stores in Bangsar, Cheras, Petaling Jaya, Shah Alam, Setapak and the main branch is in Old Klang Road.
It’s pretty obvious that Cyberjaya will have more variety of shops within the next one year or so. Having this electrical shop in Cyberjaya will make it more convenient for those who are planning to relocate to Cyberjaya. I’ll try to find time doing a review of the store once it’s opened.
